A vendor who made not only poor business decisions with the likes of Percipio, but also with the monumental blunder of acquiring SumTotal. .

I am always bothered when vendors see the entities as one in the same. I seriously wonder if those vendors who push this angle, have ever worked in training at a company (inc. To think that a vendor such as SumTotal, who sells SumTotal Learn and offers a multi-tenant platform with e-commerce, would see learning as an entity with HR.

Well, not yet, but it is coming up and with that are all those wonderful vendors and that magical expo. But one of the biggest problems I see at such shows are the number of vendors who in hindsight I wished I avoided. I recall at ATD this past year, a vendor who was trying to sell people ahead of time their LMS. CD2Learning.

These are being reported out of the larger eLearningGuild population and I would claim that they are likely more accurate than survey research that goes through the vendors themselves. Several of the LMS vendors appear more than once, such as Oracle. SkillPort scores very high as well on satisfaction. NetDimensions Enterprise.
