Once a darling of vendors who used it to show their demos, now? In fact, in 2019, I did not see one demo from a vendor on Adobe Connect. Personally a vendor can call their system whatever they want, but there are a few factoids to remember about micro-learning. Cumbersome? Not so much. You tell me, is that a good thing?

Rapid (Collaborative) Authoring Tools for developers/SMEs in multiple locations

PRIMARY type of content is online courses, CBT, conversion of existing content, presentations (and not tests/assessment, games, simulation tools). Authoring tool vendors sometimes get ticked off about being excluded from this type of filter when their primary type of content is excluded but their secondary type content is not.

My Moodle Test

With Moodle, it’s currently a vendor lock-in proposition. The only saving grace is that the vendor just happens to be an open source project. A great one is Udutu [link] – a free online application. The Blackboard SCORM import/export stuff might not be perfect, but at least they try to let people move content out.
