In a market this size, and with so many vendors overly focused on the U.S. and not necessarily worldwide (which should be the case), there is bound to be those vendors who are seeking new opportunities. Folding up shop and switching to a new market: Talent/Performance Management, new product lines not tied to e-learning, services.

More vendors entering the “Lite&# LMS space which incorporates the “month to month&# pricing structure and includes “storage&#. I’m glad to report that Litmos, a Lite LMS vendor, has dropped any additional cost for more storage, if you go over your included storage. Why haven’t we seen.

Ability to e-mail – write and send to people outside of the system, a few vendors are doing this – innovators – and something I believe is needed to enhance LMSs and Learning Portals to the next level. So, why then would you not want to know the price – at least the street price, up front.

Plateau LMS is a Talent Management System, made up of four modules. Plateau Learning. After logging into the system a pop up window appears with four option, under the title “How to Get the Most out of the Plateau TMS. You can click a check box, if you do not want the pop-up to appear the next time you log into the system.

Yes, you get the card or however it is built-in, but you still need a service to use it – and 4G costs are high, especially when it comes to data plans. They are being pushed – either by force, demand or realization, that e-learning is the future.

If you as the customer want to create your own API/Mashup or find one on the net and want to integrate it into your paid LMS, the vendor will charge you. In some cases, I have seen fees as high as 3K per integration. Why the extra fee for a vendor to integrate it into their system. 6K, please. Bonus Trend.
