For SWF output you had the choice: it was possible to change the default setting which was to have a movie playing automatically after loading. Poster image. To get rid of the white screen, you need to create a “poster image”? That is a static image, preferably with the same resolution as your project.

If you’re thinking about creating online courses you’ve probably started to think about standards. Enforce the standards and maybe even create some templates that are already “standardized”. Fonts: Choose 2-3 fonts and decide which one is for headings, body text, and possibly image design. mov,swf,avi,png,wmv, etc.).

Some people avoid creating branching scenarios because they seem too complex. Click the image to see a larger version. To produce the slides and SWF, I used Keynote 08 ( not Keynote 09! You could create the same interaction with PowerPoint and a conversion tool that supports branching.

We are creating a course for XYZ client that has their own logo. They don’t have Captivate and don’t want us to replace images and republish multiple modules every time they want to resell the courses. The logos are on multiple master slides and are png files. We are using CP 2019 and the course is not responsive.

It has been possible to fill a shape with an image since version 6. Converting the shape to a button was much easier to create nice buttons than the older workflow with Image button. For those image buttons you needed a graphics application and you couldn’t add a label. SVG as Button. In version 11.5
