Acquistions – Someone had an idea

eLearning 24-7

Groupings seem like a good idea but feel free to say this is a bad idea, and I’m okay with that. However, the product person who first saw the value of a TOC was correct – although that has gone by the wayside. At the time, PL was a dominant player in the industry, with lots of loyal (aka recurring revenue) customers.

History of the LMS

Most of it came, via 3rd party providers, or what we referred to as “boutique shops” – think custom development (fee-based) that someone, company, government, institution, and so forth hired to create a course or courses. Learning Visions

I see a listing of products and tools. Youll be interested to hear that when 200 CLOs/e-learning managers/training directors were asked to name 10 custom content development companies, most couldnt name 5. Responder listed themselves as internal purchasers of outsourced services too so it wasnt like they didnt use custom developers.

LMS Satisfaction Features and Barriers

Tony Karrer

Most of the time (as is the case with Oracle) these are different products. I know the folks from CornerStone and their product does some really interesting things. It's free which improves satisfaction. If nothing else, it causes the perception that there's a free competitor. That seems like a disconnect.
