From products that ranged from the latest versions of RCATs to new vendors in the space, including text to speech. . Avatars sound very cool and they are being used. Simply put, one vendor has over 200 Flash-based templates in their product. Another vendor I spoke with, is offering 80 templates. I was enthralled.

What I like about conferences is the ability to see the latest products and hear the pitches from the vendors. Yet, for all that do it, their are equal number of vendors who do not. Vendors who hand you a product (trial) and their business card or they just have their items in a bowl and you grab one. TK 11 Products.

Because the industry as a whole is a lemming, I expect more vendors to come on board. HTML5 output. Right now I am doing a survey on authoring tools (more on this at the end of the post) and so far 100% of all respondents state that HTML5 output is required in an authoring tool. HTML5 templates. Not anymore.

Innovation abounded and the push to focus on the “PPT to Flash&# angle continued to shine. 2010 E-Learning 24/7 Awards (No official icon logo handed out to winners, rather just a “WHOO-HOO&# – uh, you can make that sound to yourself.thank you). Some acquisitions, some goodbyes, but overall very strong.
