Especially for us fans of HTML5 who knew in our hearts of hearts that it was a superior product to Flash. 9th, that it is abandoning its work on Flash for mobile devices and instead focusing on mobile development of development of HTML5 for mobile. I know if I was a RCAT vendor I would. Awesome Example of HTML5.

There are more vendors who do not offer the ability to post – i.e. add audio afterwards it is quite amazing. They are seeking multiple tracks for editing, not one track. Again, simple and yet again arguably with many vendors difficult to do. Ability to convert various types of video formats to other video formats.

My personal favorite feature is the timeline with individual tracks for audio, images and text. Studio has always been known for the PowerPoint to Flash approach, but it also includes audio narration, TOC (yeah!) Well besides my rankings of course, think about this: 1st vendor to offer collaboration and peer review.

Because the industry as a whole is a lemming, I expect more vendors to come on board. HTML5 output. Right now I am doing a survey on authoring tools (more on this at the end of the post) and so far 100% of all respondents state that HTML5 output is required in an authoring tool. HTML5 templates. So what is missing?

Can output to MP4 or Flash, I loved the MP4. Can add your own audio or use one of their audio tracks – which surprisingly were not bad, actually quite a few were good.
