Subject matter experts are embracing the more sophisticated rapid e-learning tools which allow server side development with international collaboration and “instant&# course deployment. E-Learning development houses need to be able to demonstrate a clear value in their services. I completely agree with this.

Noterize and Box.net – a note-taking app for the iPad that allows you to view and annotate PDFs and PowerPoint presentations. Now what if you create a Mashup that takes this premise but sends a SMS to the student or sends information in the LMS to that specific end user or end users in a synchronous based learning environment.

Google Docs – ever heard of em? I would argue that vendors such as Mindflash.com and Knoodle are hybrid solutions, after all their main feature is their content authoring tool. Although, I would state from Knoodle’s perspective the tool is equally a presentation solution. Vendors to Watch. Projection.

Real Time collaborative tools, such as integration with Google Docs or desktop sharing, slowly starting to appear. With the exception of one vendor, voice discussion boards, but adding “video&# – which the vendor does not offer. Slideshare presentation functionality. Why haven’t we seen.
