Thus, it makes only sense to present my list of “thanks” from an e-learning perspective. Vendors who added innovative features including text to speech (way to go SoftChalk), to true HTML5 support (Claro, Cm-Studio, Rapid Intake, Toolbook and sort of HTML5 output – Lectora) to image editors, SDK kits, gaming sims and Sony PSP devices. Vendors who dumped desktop apps and went into the “cloud” – thank you, thank you.

Product Review: GeoLearning GeoMaestro

Offers Lectora (rapid content authoring tool) as a separate option which can integrate with GeoMaestro. Social Learning standard features – Lame. Social Learning add on module – Not a lot for what you get at an additional cost. It is truly amazing on how vendors seem to think lots of stuff on the page, is the way to go and navigation is just a requirement. Why vendors still think this is not needed or used, makes no sense.
