I’d recommend using Camtasia since it lets you record your voice over your slide show all directly inside PowerPoint. When you enable it, you’ll be able to record voice narration using a microphone. For this sort of recording, I’d recommend using Snagit. First, you’ll need a screen recording and video editing tool.

I use Snagit and Camtasia primarily. It’s a big topic so I’d like another voice to help lead. This way, I can embed/screencast the iPad segments directly into my Camtasia lessons. I mostly use screencasting to help new and current students learn (or refresh themselves) on how to do things here on campus. Any takers?

Embed graded quiz questions at key points within her videos. Getting comfortable with their own voice. Not being comfortable with their own voice is a common complaint you may hear while training faculty to create quality online course videos. Between Techsmith Knowmia, Snagit , and Camtasia , you can do anything.
