Feature sets – they have to be more than PPT to Flash or add an audio clip and video clip to the course. Mobile Learning/HTML5 output – doesn’t hurt and has to be considered. It pitches that it is a m-learning product because it supports HTML5. It doesn’t output to HTML5, though. #8

Innovation abounded and the push to focus on the “PPT to Flash&# angle continued to shine. Open Source Product of the Year (i.e. You get the Flash code – YES – you get the code, which you can do whatever you want with it. 264 codec, which the iPad supports, and a few browsers for HTML5.

I have seen continued interest and downloads for open source AR tool kits. Another Apple patent includes allowing users via touch free gesturing to move content from one device to another (example from your iPad to your television). HTML5 support – sorry Flash fans . Most likely with tablets and smartphones.

Some vendors push heavily on PPT, implying that a great WBT is really a PPT converted to Flash. Flash output – still red hot. The latter is slowly gaining speed, which is an advantage to LMS vendors who have a CAT in their own product – which is SCORM,PENS/IMS compliant. Here is a news flash: It’s not true.
