NexLearn Professional sim tool – They want you to sign a MDNA before seeing the product (In my case they thought I was an e-learning developer. Quicklessons – while they do offer a free version, the product most folks will buy they do not. NexLearn Professional – jeez starting to see a trend here?

It’s free. Thinking Worlds - offers a free version (lame) and a commercial version (better) – create sims and 3D games publish to iPad (have to purchase the TW Pro + iOS edition), very slick. Celtix - Enables you to create storyboards and scripts.

Comes with App store and gadget store , where you can download and install into your product – the apps are like objects created by them and others, and gadgets are widget like things – them and end users; oh the majority are free, but if as an end user created one and wanted to sell it – you could.

not free, or not 100% open source) and I have to do 100% customization to land a client, I would worry about my cash on hand and debt load. 1 vendor does an initial full customization, then if at a latter point you need to make a couple of standard changes, they need to come back and do more customization, which at that point is not free.

Articulate Studio – also offering a special deal at $1,398 but you also get Studio 13 for free – limited deal. NexLearn (Simulation tool) – their uber robust sim version will cost you nearly 13K for one license, their base version (Simplicity) $999. Regardless, if you are not upgrading its not cheap. EduWiz $1,299.
