Some captions and parts of images might have a dark background when published in CP5 with slide quality set as JPEG. This is because the mechanism to publish images has changed significantly from CP4 to CP5. Keeping the file size reasonably low with high resolution images can be quite a challenging task.

Fonts: Choose 2-3 fonts and decide which one is for headings, body text, and possibly image design. Just a tip…stay away from lime and purple text. Images: Will your images have shadows, rounded corners, feathering, borders, reflections, be square? mov,swf,avi,png,wmv, etc.). Company, department, none?

When developing an eLearning course using rapid authoring tools, you should know which format is supported by the tool to import audio files, videos, and images. If the tool does not support the image, video, or audio format you want to import, you will have to waste time converting them into the required format.
