One item, that people who are looking for a learning system often perceive is that the RFP will be the key deciding factor on selecting or at least narrowing down their list for a learning system. The IT folks involved in the RFP is another monster. Cookie is one thing, but it tends to slide more towards Frankenstein.

For those folks under the age of 35, a library is a place where one goes to find this ancient things known as books. Growing up, the only place to find and read books, magazines was to go to the library. Everything you needed – fiction, non-fiction, kids section, reference books and materials was at the library.

If they were a vendor who played in EdTech (K-12, HE) but also played into corporate and did so, not just by having clients find them, but actively through marketing, they were considered too. Strictly If you like, then RFP it. Not That is called affiliate marketing. Strictly EdTech? Not the other way around.  Brand awareness.

Generative AI is going to slide into this bucket of blah blah. Usually, just like the power users, they slide into the very Large Enterprise. Biz Skills, that vendor again (Biz Library) metrics tell me part of the story, but the content to the job role to skills mapping ahead of time really sets it apart from everyone else.
