Somewhat unusual among software these days, Articulate opted to wait four years before their next version. Just as before, it integrates right into Microsoft PowerPoint, but now it doesn’t seem so out of place with the latest PowerPoint version. In the past, this meant SCORM 2004 (and version 1.2 Best Feature?

Studio ‘09 is made up of three different tools: Presenter, Engage, and Quizmaker. The new Quizmaker, in particular, is a welcome addition to the Articulate Studio Suite. The Professional version starts at $1,398. The new version, Camtasia Studio 8, is no different. It makes adding quizzes to courses easier than ever.

I’ve recently been working on a couple of courses in Articulate, a rapid authoring tool in which you can build professional online instruction and interactions such as multi-response, in Engage, Presenter and Quizmaker. Building basic interactions in Articulate’s Engage and Quizmaker applications is really simple. It’s straightforward.

Storyline is a desktop authoring tool which Articulate would probably position alongside their current Studio suite of Presenter, QuizMaker and Engage, but for me this is definitely a replacement. You can incorporate as much interactive logic as you like without programming. Animation tools includes. Publish your work to ZapShopps.

I also wonder if tool makers like Articulate Quizmaker , QuestionMark and other testing creation tools are considering a Facebook app version. However, there is something very cool happening in the Facebook space and I'm not sure it takes that much programming muscle to make these apps happen.

Two components are the shining stars – Presenter and Quizmaker. Their video encode program is lackluster, you are better off using Audacity – which is free. However, there are plenty of people who have come to rely on the desktop version and by doing so, would it hurt sales? The rest you can’t. .
