Enterprise Learning Systems – What does that really mean?

What is an LXP and why do I want one?

These two vendors are EdCast and Degreed. Getting back to being unaware, I find the same issue with a few vendors in the learning system space who are really LXPs, but have no idea. It reminded me of the vendors in the space who scream they are not an LMS, even though they hit all the standards of an LMS. . In my opinion, no.

Did you get the best deal?

The LMS vendor got away with charging an outrageous amount for their system, with a “deal for them” $48 a seat. Again, a “deal” according to the vendor. Rates should be lower, and services provided expanded. It is a lot by far, and it was what a buyer (i.e. company) over paid for their LMS.

When I followed up with a few and asked why, they said, because they wanted to learn more about the subject that the firm was providing to their clients. I wonder whether or not they are aware of the well known point that happy employees produce more (of whatever you provide, offer, service, etc.), Propaganda Pens.

It also eliminates people who are not in your vertical, size of company (which does occur with some LMS companies) or do not have the features, that your system provides. Now some vendors like to mention the big names, after all, it will impress some people.
