My goals for selecting a content authoring product are as follows: Ability to easily import from existing course materials made in Word and PowerPoint Ability to export to SCORM 1.2/2004 Lectora I choose Lectora as the next piece of my tool kit.

I can see how theorists might argue that reading text aloud to the learner addresses multiple "learning styles," but the real-world experience is one of frustration: you want to read ahead but you cant because the narrator reads more slowly than you do. Im with you. But I just thought that was my learning style. Youre right.

And by asking this, Im not suggesting that design isnt important, for it is - its seen by some as part of the pedagogy.
