1) Learning Styles, ha, ha, ha Jay Cross December 2005 The comment thread is really great. I think audio is very effective when you want to establish an emotional connection or when the visual is actually important to the content and needs to be described (as opposed to eye candy like stock photos). Everyone who has graduated from college since 2005 has a FaceBook account. If SL has this effect on other women, then it wont be the most effective place to send female employees as part of an elearning experience. However, ideas taken from Second Life, minus the cultural trappings, could be effective.
