Though this taxonomy of the cognitive domain was revised by Anderson and Krathwohl in 2001, the visual metaphor of the step pyramid was still prevalent.

Good News: Spending on Training Increasing

In a recent Bersin by Deloitte study , spending on learning and development rose by 12% in 2012. Obviously, this is great news for learning and development (L&D) professionals. But complain all you want, CEOs don’t care about Bloom’s Taxonomy , Adult Learning Theory , and Gange’s Nine Events of Instruction.
