SCORM 2004 3rd edition, SCORM 2004 4th edition (rarely used), AICC, PENS – all of which are compliance standards, each with strengths and minuses. . As you are aware I am not a fan of AICC – useful in early 2000’s, but IMO not that useful today. There you have it, some of the most common jargon out there.

What I am finding is that AICC is nearly gone in the LEP space (as it is with LMSs too), so if I was you, I’d seek SCORM, SCORM 1.2, PENS is nearly non-existent in this segment and CMI-5 is extremely new and few vendors have it – expect more in 2019. Linkedin Learning does this and I hate it. xAPI as my top three.
