A PowerPoint is not an effective means of e-learning, although one person told me what did a PPT have to do with any of this? In college, I was an auditory learner, watching videos or viewing slides bored me. I retained and synthesized from audio to putting it down as notes. Audio versions? I never paid attention.

When you type or draw into the app, a timestamp corresponding to the recorded audio is added to the note. That note then becomes a link to play the audio recording from that point. It allows you to go back and listed to just a section of the audio from a meeting or lecture without listening to the entire recording.

Each PowerPoint slide appears in order, following your PPT order. For example: your first PPT slide is on the timeline then you add a word document, next an image file, another slide (your 2nd one in the deck u uploaded), then audio/movie and so on. If you want to remove a page or slide you can.

Sometimes all you need is a simple web page or doc/pdf rather than an elearning course. While you could quickly convert the SME’s ppt to the sample course, I think that the overall efficiency for the organization wouldn’t be as great, especially if the info is something people need to access more than once. Awesome post!

Of course, there are audio calls and video conferencing, but there’s always a chance of experiencing some glitch due to internet disruptions. . How do you control the movements? .
