Well, a lot has been happening in the past three months, from SaaS driven to talent management to course authoring to name changes and everything in between. They offer a SaaS version, but that is fee based. The freebie does not offer SCORM nor monitoring, but has social learning, assessment tool inc. Blackboard. How amazing?

This version ($40/u/m) is geared towards the instructional designer/developer. SaaS product – but here’s the thing – if you want the course to be in your LMS – it can but it still sits on the ZZ server side and not in your system (should note that the LMS connectivity is available only in the $40/u version).

Two years ago there were some folks who believed that mobile learning where tools, etc. self-contained with online/offline synch – honestly any e-learning solution, especially content authoring tools should have one of these, but for the LMS space it makes equal sense. Content authoring tool, built in assessment tool.

They actually have two learning management systems, but for whatever reason, they are pitching their SharePoint version. Anyway, social exists in the platform, along with a built in authoring tool and the system is SCORM course standard. . If you go the primary route, courses #1, LMS included, then any market will work.
