Before diving into the conference itself, for those who are unaware, I have signed a book deal with ATD Publishing. . But trust me when I tell you this, that it has no bearing on my thoughts of this year’s conference, because overall it was the best one ATD wise that is, I have ever been to. Well hello there!

If they do not offer unlimited sessions per month, then they shouldn’t be in this business. As the Director of Training, you want to hold webinars or conferences. Most licenses (again depends on vendor) includes unlimited webinars for the month and either unlimited people or a limit of people per month (example 25 per session).

They fail to even clearly show their product, let alone present the product sans the standard PPT intro that comes with “learn more” about the solution. Yet, I have been on these types of calls, and seen via the “conference” room as many as nine people. . We are all busy and have lots of things going on.
