Big Dog (Saba, SumTotal, Plateau, Cornerstone OnDemand, Learn.com). Saba does a good job as well. Made specifically for business. My runner-up is Operitel’s LearnFlex LSP. Cost/Budget Allocation. These standout to me. I include Learning Portals, LCMSs, as part of the mix. Categories. Big Dog LMS.

If you are seeking a system that is a mash-up of useful business tools with a strong LMS, than this is a system to examine. Their ideal market honestly is education, but they as many other VLPs have realized that corporate is a delicacy that cannot be passed up. Well, that’s good because I just made it up.

Vendors who hand you a product (trial) and their business card or they just have their items in a bowl and you grab one. It is a serious problem in our space, and goes across all products and business size. Their small business one, frankly was stripped down and basic and not worth the cost. TK 11 Products.

This isn’t the case with a LMS product geared to small business or associations, for example, who land a large client or two, and then say to themselves – ah, we can compete, so lets focus on that. They will argue it is time and labor costs for the person doing it. You can’t. As for APIs, well that is another story.
