If the vendor has load balance (which anyone who has servers should), then the bandwidth claim just doesn’t fly – not even in a spaceship to Mars - unless you i.e. the customer is having internal issues with your network lines or your own servers. They do not have servers with load balance. Bottom Line.

Product Review: Totara

Seems to focus more on client side server, when space as a whole is focused more on SaaS. Calendar – Love it here, but when you hover over the dates, shows a tiny box if an event is available. Clicking the calendar is no good, because you do not go to the full screen calendar in the system. My Learning.

In the cloud or on your own servers. Low cost systems are typically SaaS based (then again, the LMS industry as a whole is more SaaS based than hosted on your servers). Some systems in this space include e-commerce at no additional charge. Major downer: available only as hosted on your own servers. AJ LMS - UI is average.

What is of note, is that this is not new in terms of systems being offered “in the cloud” This was happening back when e-learning began, with quite a few systems in the cloud by 2002. Systems that are only available as hosted on your own servers are starting to significantly decline. Prediction. I love this!
