I wanted to know whether Saba, one of the most successful of the big LMSs, could reinvent itself to accommodate informal learning. So it has been more than a little surprising to me over the past few years to see Moodle, an open-source VLE, used so enthusiastically by corporates.

20 Saba Learning Suite. While the pricing is outrageous and the Saba as a whole seems better suited as a HCM, their learning suite is a better alternative than those who want Cornerstone OnDemand. The downside to Panopto is its lack of skinning and the dual logo. Hopefully this will change. . #20 19 WBT Top Class . 16 Meridan KSI.

Saba Cloud – Saba is such a wild card here. Saba was once a kingpin in the industry, then dropped down, now, I think they are on the upswing again, so it is a system to keep on an eye on. They can be found on FindAnLMS.com. They have always been deep down a performance management system with a learning component.

I removed any vendor built 100% on free open source or open source whereas it is always 100% customized so that one could build a mega monster or build a 1995 version. For folks who think I ignore the big dog vendors, sorry to disappoint, but Saba, SumTotal Learn and Cornerstone Learning Suite are in the Top 50.
