Product Review: Plateau TMS (Talent Management System)

This is Plateau’s social learning component, and it reminds me of a cross between a COP (Community of Practice) with some social learning functionality. Kodak embraced them to a point, but kept their initial camera products. Why people still think a COP is of value is beyond me. Kodak was the king kong of film and cameras.

Features that are must haves in any LMS

Social tied to specific content (course or courses for example), to a group or groups, to a community (in some ways reminds me of the old COP – community of practice). If you are targeting training providers, offer the ability for them to include product items – they may be selling more than just courses.
