Storyline is widely used to convert Flash-based e-learning content, which cannot be accssed on most Smartphones and tablet PCs, into the mobile-compatible HTML5 format. The software can be used to retain most effects of Flash. On the flip side, Articulate Storyline provides little support to responsive e-learning.

Listen you love flash. You can’t live without it – but unless you want to be able to only see your courses on tablets that only support flash (and they all also support HTML5) or have zero desire to see your courses on the iPads (which support only HTML5), you will need to face reality. Some vendors push heavily on PPT, implying that a great WBT is really a PPT converted to Flash. Flash output – still red hot. Over 98% of the LMS/LCMS/learning platform have at least one compliance standard, so why use a RCAT that doesn’t? Flash isn’t going anywhere, except maybe the route of leaded gasoline.
