Maybe you need specific reports that are not currently available in your system (extra charge), maybe you want an e-commerce component and the vendor does not offer it (extra charge), etc. Future Upgrade.

There are dozens of free audio plugins available on the net, so why aren’t screen capturing/recording vendors offering the ability for the end user to add them? There is something wrong when a free and open source product like Audacity can do it, yet a product that costs hundreds of dollars cannot. E-Learning 24/7.

Just in the past two years the per license cost of authoring tools has skyrocketed. Long has tools such as Studio and Captivate been on the higher side, the same can be said for vendors such as Rapid Intake and dominKnow. Regardless, if you are not upgrading its not cheap. Fear #1 – Evil Clown Pricing. EduWiz $1,299.

Other fee is hours to use – which the base is 6,000 users at the cost of $3,000 USD. Anyway, not sure how that played out when they had some clients who moved from Absorb to SmartLab and then ended up going back to Absorb – not an ideal customer service move IMO. That said pricing is affordable. on the net. .
