Acquistions – Someone had an idea

I thought about this, as you can tell, and said to myself, okay, let’s write a post where the e-learning history and thus learning systems, authoring tools, and alike are intertwined with good and bad ideas. I was using DazzlerMax and Authorware, which are superior offerings for creating courses. Not Articulate.

Thus, simulations, courses that were engaging/interactive (in many cases) was available. Most of it came, via 3rd party providers, or what we referred to as “boutique shops” – think custom development (fee-based) that someone, company, government, institution, and so forth hired to create a course or courses.

What I like

Learning Systems – I like this, but that? I like Elucidat, the SaaS authoring tool, for folks new to authoring courses/content and those with limited experience. I really like that they have templates for folks who are providing customer education (many authoring tools do not). Captivate is so yesterday.

What if….? (E-Learning)

On the learning system or any online learning platform, would security be even better using blockchain? What really bothers me more so, is when certain learning system vendors tell me they do not offer social or NexGen functionality because their clients either do not want it or because of security concerns by the client.
