However, when you begin to go after small, niche audiences, then low cost production becomes important. And there will continue to be times when the payback for better quality content will justify the cost.

Essentially telling the CEO – we’ll produce more and better quality – but it’s not going to cost any more. One possibly good side product will be that total learner hours shouldn’t be a primary metric. There have been a couple of products in the market that provide this kind of add-on for self-paced eLearning.
