A year ago I wrote about NexGen functionality in any learning system. This is to say, that any learning system vendor who tells you they are NexGen, should have Tier 1 functionality (in its entirety or at least 60% of it). If there was any learning system that screams going NexGen it is them. .

The LEP space is now the 2nd largest segment in the learning system space (LMSs are still first). One area I am seeing trend wise are learning environment and administrative features starting to mimic LMSs (not 100% in some cases, but pretty close). . Gamification is in stagnation mode in the entire learning system space. .

Getting back to being unaware, I find the same issue with a few vendors in the learning system space who are really LXPs, but have no idea. Content Providers and other learning systems are not familiar with the LXP size, revenue potential or growth potential. However, that is for another post. Who are you? LXP Standards.
