Adobe Captivate Prime – demo and introduction, let’s roll the tape! I saw a more detailed demo the other day (away from the show). Basically, you can add your PPT, MP4, assessment, word docs, etc. Works only in Flash at the moment, so forget about seeing those courses on any iOS device. Good Surprises.

Flash Widgets One of my biggest issues with Captivate as a serious eLearning tool, up to now, has been the limited feature set and the difficulty in extending that feature set. Widgets are specially formatted Flash swf files that know how to communicate with the host Captivate project. How do you make a widget?

I built a quick demo to explain more about the fuzzy thumb technique. Every time i make PPT presenations I get confused what colors. Mark Sheppard : There are no shortage of tools that will let you generate Flash output without using Flash. In return, you get to do the project your way with little interference.

Dedicated graphic designers and Flash programmers were available for some projects, but not all. Having said all of that, one of my co-designers is busy upskilling on Flash as we speak, so there is a chance I might lose ground if the need for technical skills increases. It seemed to depend on what the client paid for.
