Perhaps they wanted a human capital management platform containing various sub-systems including learning, performance, compensation, etc. M-Learning – native app, online/offline synchronization – supports HTML5.

LMS/LCMS vendors wishing to a slight degree to incorporate social learning without fully entering are adding Widgets to the mix. Mobile and Social. Social on the other hand is a hit or miss. Feature sets include IDP, mentor page, class side view, parent portal, file repository, blog for each student, event mgt and lots lots more. Mobile as a whole in the LMS space is still extremely low, but there are low cost systems that offer it. . Pluses and Minuses.

Assign x users to one group, assign “y” to another group – with each group having different courses, learning content, etc. Other standard favorites included some type of “event management” albeit the term wasn’t necessarily used. It is like “har har” Event Management.
