Every E-Learning vendor should want your business and treat you as they would want to be treated. Every LMS vendor should have a standard regarding response times, when they receive an inquiry via the internet. I know of one vendor who responds within 30 minutes of receiving an inquiry. E-Learning 24/7.

There are some good ones out there, and from a learning system standpoint some vendors in the B2B/B2C market are adding this capability. One e-learning vendor who has as part of their assessment solutions has an online proctoring component is Questionmark. They can integrate with any learning system out there.

Estimate 55% e-learning related content, including e-learning vendors and ILT vendors who added a “virtual training” component as part of their offerings. To me, many more LMS vendors than in the past, especially some newbies I’ve never seen attend the show. And the lack of lunch.

But trust me when I tell you this, that it has no bearing on my thoughts of this year’s conference, because overall it was the best one ATD wise that is, I have ever been to. That said, there were some hiccups and from an entire vendor wise (expo here) angle, some unique and some, uh. E-Learning that is.

A LMS that came with a e-commerce, a chat room, discussion boards, front end look that did not appear to a be a LMS, library, bookstore (capability), art gallery (I used it for sponsorship purposes). The vendor? Trust me, students would find it significantly better than the synchronus based experience that is still being used.

Library pulls in your video, audio, flash and image files right from your video,image, flash, audio folders on your computer – GREAT IDEA – although I wish they added HTML5. Click the white arrow (hard to see, but trust me it is there) and the window expands to: Now you can make your changes. One click Publish.

Easy to insert and delete learning objects. Media Library. One of the irritants with RCATs and frankly many e-learning vendors in assessment and other groups, is that you have no idea what image format is acceptable, until you go into the select image function. Trust me, he looks cute. E-Learning 24/7.
