This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . In all the years I have attended and have known about ATD (formally ASTD), this year is by far the most in terms of e-learning vendors, especially those in the LMS space.

It was the brain, if you will, the central component of my “learning community&#. Pods which were off the hub included a bookstore, library, event center, courses (to sign up and take), chat rooms and other items. I always saw my LMS (when I purchased them) as a hub, but not as merely a LMS.

E-Learning vendors offer training or tell you they have robust training, you find out it is PDF guides with an accompanying video. In all my years of doing this, I have never seen one 3rd party course provider (with more than 50 courses) in their library, have all their courses be interactive and engaging.

Media Library upload is fast, but I’m running at 20Mbps for upload, the only time it was somewhat slow was when uploading a PDF file. Can create root folders in the media library. Library – location of files, files are viewable by icons, along with the file name and type. Flash card option, within the course.
