Should we demand that the vending machines charge only 50 cents for a candy bar or do we run over to 7-11 and stock up for rainy day? The same thing applies to the learning management system market. Ask your fellow colleagues – via Linkedin, Quora, etc. Scope out Linkedin, and other social media channels.

E-Learning Trade Shows + Product Reviews 4 #TK11

People in the booth that actually know the product inside and out – I’m surprised on how this continues to be a problem at a lot of e-learning shows; some companies stock their booths with people who are very nice, but really do not have any knowledge on the product, beyond what they read on the product sheet they are handing you.

The Latest: Rapid Content Authoring Tool Market

While RCATs never really offered a robust set of Clip Art for their customers (heck, most offered ZERO), they are now slowly offering images of people – not cartoon like, or an outline – but actual stock people images. eLearning Brothers offers such a product – and RCAT vendors are starting to add it into their own product.

40,000 share of stock. I received 40,000 shares of stock in a company that was pre-IPO. Linkedin acquires Lynda.com – 1.5 The Linkedin buy. It is by no means the best stuff I’ve ever seen for 3rd party content/course vendor. . That is what a lot of vendors right now in the space are hearing.
