Nowadays I think that the gig is up, and everyone realizes the scam. Surprises in E-Learning One of the biggest surprises, is that so many folks are unaware that e-learning was an umbrella term, as I noted in the History of the LMS post. In a market this size, and with so many vendors overly focused on the U.S. and not necessarily worldwide (which should be the case), there is bound to be those vendors who are seeking new opportunities. Folding up shop and switching to a new market: Talent/Performance Management, new product lines not tied to e-learning, services.

hey it is a Mashup of Emotions! Although after talking to several vendors, irritation seemed to be a part of their response to me. Estimate 55% e-learning related content, including e-learning vendors and ILT vendors who added a “virtual training” component as part of their offerings.

More vendors enabling the use of APIs – i.e. people can create their own API and integrate them into the LMS/Learning Portal vendor’s system, this equally means you can create mashups too. So, why then would you not want to know the price – at least the street price, up front. CERTPOINTVLS 7.0
