What always stuns me are vendors who state they know what their learners want, but in reality have no clue, because they themselves do not see the technology and its usage among the masses. Of course it can still look lame – the course that is – but that isn’t because of the product, rather umm (well you know who). 19 Zenler Studio - I liked this product last year (2012) and I still find it quite favorable. FT- Another product I liked in 2012 and still like in 2013. and customized player.

While, I can understand vendors who would rather not offer a “talent management or performance management&# option, the decision to ignore social learning, is strange. It is not as though, social learning is going to disappear. I rarely recommend 100%, a product, but I will on this one. E-Learning 24/7.

You could count on your hand the number of vendors even looking at it, and I’m not just talking LMSs/Learning Portals, but content authoring tools and other products. I recall speaking in November on a webinar panel and being somewhat chided over the fact that I kept repeating the importance of mobile learning and tablets.

There is something about gaining insight and knowledge around various products or offerings when you either have limited or zero-knowledge around these items, but you want to purchase one at some point. Proposals from the Vendor, Proposal from you. I love buyer’s guides.

Product: Liquid Authoring. Media Library upload is fast, but I’m running at 20Mbps for upload, the only time it was somewhat slow was when uploading a PDF file. In test version, product did not work in FireFox, had problems in Safari, but worked well in Internet Explorer. PDF Viewer – insert a PDF into your course.
