Better Conferences - Response Needed

If you've been a reader of my blog for a while, you may have figured out that I'm almost continually surprised by what I consider to be obvious problems with the conferences I regularly attend - and no offense to the eLearningGuild, ASTD, etc. I like that the eLearningGuild at DevLearn has done a room full of demonstrations in the past.

I've basically limited myself to eLearningGuild and ASTD conferences. I somewhat got this wrong as the big LMS vendors seem to now refer to themselves in terms of talent management and workforce productivity rather than innovating around the learning itself. Those seem to have been a good replacement for my conference time.
