PLE - PWLE Discussion Contiunes - Corporate vs Personal and IP Rights

Clearly this is a different use of PLE's than those outside the firewall, for free rangers, and for learning from everything of personal interest. Tools provide by the enterprise that will sometimes reach outside the enterprise to give public visibility. The enterprise provides tools to employees that they can use as part of the PWLE.

Blogging Inside or Outside the Corporate Firewall

Stephen Downes commented on my recent post - Personal Work and Learning Environments (PWLE) - More Discussion and said - I am opposed to the trend coming from the corporate learning side of the house to treat PLEs as work tools. If it's captured in a system inside the corporate firewall, it won't go outside.
