Even one vendor who only offers desktop has a forum setup for collaborative and peer review services. This feature set will become a standard for systems in the “cloud&# because of the reasons stated above – everyone hates those options, at T&D departments at their businesses. They output only to HTML5.

In the webinar, I brought up how LMS vendors were themselves perpetuating the myth of the bad things of social media (which is a necessary component of social learning), so, rather than identify the facts and data to potential clients who are concerned about social media and thus social learning, they instead do not include it in their system.

Many vendors service multi-conglomerates that are international, rather than companies that are based only in country x and no where else. If your employee or customer cannot figure out how to move around the front end of the system (what they see) then no matter what you place on the screen, they won’t use it.
