Tool Set 2009

I'm hoping to address questions such as: How do you create a personal tool set or Personal Learning Environment (PLE) for yourself? For example, Personal Learning , PLE , PWLE , PKM are all pretty closely related. But when I go to PLE and then look at the related Tools, I'm not seeing clear winners.

I first met Graham at an event in the UK around 2006, just when I was becoming aware of the potential of social media such as wikis, blogs and social networking platforms as a learning tools. In this photo I'm with Jay Cross and Graham Attwell, at a conference in Salzburg, Austria. My first impression was that he was a bit of a contradiction.
