The role of technology is not limited to individual productivity. You can now easily share your calendar, your tasks, and even your current projects with colleagues and clients using web-based applications like Google Docs. Multitasking is not your friend. It also brings people together.

Is multimedia the same as multitasking? They often use slick video to show a concept while a voice-over explains everything, so the learners only role is to passively absorb. So its interesting to think about this underadditive effect where "total brain activation goes down" if presenting in both visual and auditory at the same time.
