The enterprise provides tools to employees that they can use as part of the PWLE. I could understand an argument that it would be preferable for individuals to be able to use the same tools outside the corporation for personal interests - but I don't see his argument that it is no longer a PLE or PWLE. Using SharePoint

The reality is that what we did on the Work Literacy course or what I did for my Collaborative Learning Course could easily be supported by the various types of web parts within SharePoint. This is similar to support for courses and much of the web parts used, follow-up techniques, etc. These would be external consituents.

It’s very powerful stuff and an important extension to my PWLE. eLearning 2.0 eLearning 2.0 was considered a hot term in 2007 and 2008, but not in 2009.
