I can see how theorists might argue that reading text aloud to the learner addresses multiple "learning styles," but the real-world experience is one of frustration: you want to read ahead but you cant because the narrator reads more slowly than you do. Im with you. But I just thought that was my learning style. Youre right.

e-Learning should be all neat and tied up in a nice wrapper with a Next button that moves you through a content checklist and a great assessment at the end. This may be why the concept of informal learning is such a hard sell. But Im learning. Forget about it. A PLE can be messy. Its personal, after all.
