I have been a Camtasia fan for a long time, as well as a SnagIt and Jing fan and I’m also very impressed with the work TechSmith is doing on Mobile. You can watch this interactive video (link below) on your desktop PC, iPad and iPhone (may be prompted to install the Smart Player app) and all the interactivity should work just fine.

Dev Corner - What programming languages do we use?

Our newer products, like Jing, drop some of the legacy C++ code for shiny new C# and.NET. Camtasia Relay and Screencast.com are built using Web Forms while some new projects, like the Coach's Eye video player, are using ASP.NET MVC. Our web products run on Microsoft servers using ASP.NET.

Finally, the OpenSesame SCORM Video Player makes it possible to track video files in any learning management system. Through a fortunate happenstance, I came across Jing : a very simple screencast tool that would incorporate voiceovers. I should also add that “controversial” was my word, and not Tom’s.
