TechSmith recently announced the release of Camtasia 2018 and there’s much to cheer.   TechSmith made huge strides in Camtasia 9 when it improved the free assets in the Library.   TechSmith added a few new behaviors giving you even more object-animating power than ever. According to TechSmith, “TechSmith has a 30-day grace period. Among the improvements in version 2018:   Enhanced Library & Subscription Service Offering Thousands More.

While recording a software demonstration using the Camtasia Recorder, you have two choices when it comes to the file format for your video capture: TREC and AVI. Audio Video Interleave ( AVI ) is a popular Microsoft format that can contain both video and audio. It plays nicely on multiple devices and operating systems.
