Keeping Up - April's Big Question

I also like to make occasional visits to Google Labs and Adobe Labs to "keep up" with the tech tools they are working on and to test drive any beta versions available. When I do find interesting tools I will keep track of them using my Delicious account. Tagged either under Development Tools or Cloud.

2010 LMS Products of the Year

A lot of great products out there this year, new updates and latest versions; new companies, new services and just some real innovation. Big Dog (Saba, SumTotal, Plateau, Cornerstone OnDemand, Learn.com). I like this system and its functionality in comparison to the other players in this space. You want the LSP version.

Learning Systems for 2018 (#25 to #16)

I removed any vendor built 100% on free open source or open source whereas it is always 100% customized so that one could build a mega monster or build a 1995 version. Reminds me of Real Player – are they making a comeback?) Torch LMS, Glo Enterprise, Learn Amp, Toolwire (TILE), Player Lync, Eurekos and Thought Industries. .

Something is Going on Down there in the LMS Market

Over 98% do not have a true HTML5 player in their system that can run a 100% pure HTML5 course – which by the way, has nothing to do with the browser agnostic pitch they make about their system being optimized for the iPad. Or the beta versions of the browsers yet to be launched. Dolphin HD? Here though is the challenge.
