Let’s face it – RFI/RFP documents sent over to learning system vendors are massive tomes that confuse, challenge and even baffle some vendors. Yeah, they are focused on essentials, again, forgetting this is a learning system and is for learning. They can be 25 pages. 50 pages, even 100 pages or more.

On the other hand, the second big breakout feature which I see as truly human-centric will be discussed, but it is hard to show, because it taps into the “search” angle, plus in 2022, they are taking it another step, which I will note – and I believe will be a game-changer in the learning system industry. A nice plus.

Some of my favorite surprises in 2023, okay, have continued for many years, and still are rocking it, include: Rapid Content Authoring Tools – that have been reduced down, to be nothing more than slides where you can stick images/items in, and lots of templates. Even today, by learning system vendors on the corporate side.

I see this approach, well, not the goes in one ear and out the other, when I attended seminars at conferences. There are pre-assumptions in play if you attend a workshop or seminar on instructional design or course building. Honestly, you can tap into the KP for online – via your learning system for some of the items.

At the end of it all though, to me at least, is that you are going to see who I list as the Best of the Best is this growing segment in the Learning System space. LXP Template was part of the process. A favorite of mine in the 2019-19 rankings, and a Top 10 learning system for 2019, this LXP continues to deliver.
